In EAL class, we hadthe dabate about zoos. -some people said that zoos are harmful, and come people said zoos are helpful to animals. then what is your opinion? do you think animals are really pleasant to be in the cage? or do they feel satisfy in the cage? i want to hear your opinions.
Depends…….Some injured animals cant survive in the wild, which zoos make a place to fit them. Nowadays, animals in zoos are all generations of wildlife captured animals, they dont now how to survive in the wild, unless they are trained. Also, most of the animals in zoos are endangered species, and to prevent the species to extinction, humans are trying to make em’ breed more and prevent them from poachers, which could keep them safe. So I think it would be helpful for animals to have zoos. Who doesn’t want to sleep and eat everyday?
I’m not too keen on zoos, generally, but it depends on the zoo. Some zoos do their best to keep animals in good conditions with lots of space, but others do not care. One of the good things that zoos can do, though, is to help breed endangered species, like our own panda breeding centre here in Chengdu. It could be classed as a zoo, but the pandas have a reasonable amount of space to wander around and the centre is keen to keep the panda population thriving and not go into extinction.
